Dr. Pam Von Behrens completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois – Urbana, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 1994. She then worked as a veterinary assistant for several years before attending the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned several scholarships and awards, including cardiology student of the year. She became a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society and graduated with high honors in 2002. After graduation, Dr. Von Behrens practiced for several years in a northwest suburb of Chicago and then joined the staff at Clarkson –Wilson Veterinary Clinic in July of 2005. Her professional areas of interest include small animal internal medicine including ultrasonography. Dr. Von Behrens is also an avid equestrian, having owned and shown hunter/jumper horses for close to 40 years. She currently lives in Wentzville, Missouri with her husband Eric, 1 cat, Penny, a horse, Paris, and their dog, Lyla.
